Over 2014-2015, for B+R Architects, I completed two refurbishment projects in the womenswear department of the Harrods department store in Knightsbridge, and worked with Tom Dixon to deliver the tender and construction packages for the Tom Dixon Café in Harrods, performing a key role in the coordination of the design, working closely with Tom Dixon’s Design Research Studio and the Client team. I had been employed by B+R from 2012-2014 as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant before completing my Part 3 professional qualifications in 2014, previously delivering a number of large-scale retail delivery packages for the John Lewis Partnership.

Part 2 Architectural Assistant working on a large range of projects including Mixed Use Developments, large Residential Schemes, Town Centre and University Campus Masterplans. I worked in a number of front of house roles at the 5 star hotel that included many front-facing responsibilities such as dealing with any number of Guest requests and managing the main bar and events bar at numerous weddings. Duties included dealing with customers, serving both food and beverages, handling large sums of money, keeping end of day accounts and stock taking.
