I’m currently working as a Public Affairs Specialist for the USDA Forest Service in the Creative Services and Storytelling teams! Prior to this permanent position I was an intern as a Resource Assistant at the Forest Service.I studied journalism at the University of Maryland. I've volunteered and studied with the CNS-TV broadcast production as a floor director, teleprompter, audio operator, and overall studio production setup needs. I worked part-time as the layout design editor for the Diamondback newspaper at College Park, MD.I do photography, design, and film for my own projects, one of which was my documentary about Samuel Uder, a transgender man who grew up in the Mormon church. The documentary is on Youtube. I've interned at Fox 5 DC under the engineering and production departments. Shadowed and learned all about the importance of broadcast news positions varying from master control, floor directing, audio, and so forth.I do freelance designs. Some freelance designs have been done to start up SEDS@UMD, I worked on their website, their logo, and their packets and made the templates for their social media presence. Some other designs were done in high school for the drama club productions, etc. I also done freelance video editing for home videos for families and a workout YouTuber.
