Obtain and analyze competitive vendor quotations for pricing, delivery, dependability and resourcefulness. Select sources of supply to suit business requirements. Contact and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, adjustments, and material or delivery issues. Consult with production, engineering and other supply chain staff to ensure compliance with schedules, quality and product requirements. Locate new sources of supply for assigned commodities or services, as necessary and maintain current awareness of changing market material conditions, ITAR and FAR/DFAR regulations.

Procurement Analyst for Raw Materials (Specialty Metals) in support of nuclear aircraft carrier, submarine construction and overhaul.Control Account Manager (Raw Materials) for Ford Class Program performed cost analysis, procurement strategies and subcontract management. Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals from suppliers and review requisitions for goods and services. Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and determine need for changesMonitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.

Conduct on site audit and reconciliation of T-34/T44 logbooks in support of Sikorsky Support Services.Audited over 350 logbooks and provided process improvement initiatives to incumbent personnel. Briefed executive management and top military commanders on findings provided POAM to reduce errors, improve efficiency and management of logbook processes for contractors.

Directed production efforts of 300 personnel performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for eight EP-3E and three P-3C aircraft. Determined personnel and material needs, prepared instructions for improving operations, developed programs for interviewing, evaluating and assigning personnel for maximum utilization of six detachment sites and 10 maintenance teams. Directly contributed to execution of 3000 flight hours and a 95 percent sortie completion rate. As a result of these actions VQ-2 was awarded Naval Aviation Safety "S" Award for 2006. Led maintenance and logistics efforts for new EP-3E Joint Common Configuration (JCC) aircraft. Worked closely with P-3 ILS, Fleet Support Teams and EP-3E Special Missions including Tempest testing (Electronic configuration test verification) and first operational testing with a Carrier Battle group.Directed logistics team of 15 people performing Supply Chain Management (SCM) to include stock control, cost readiness, shipping, receiving, fiscal and records management, and quality control. Initiated business case for the analysis, planning and complete digitization of technical and logistics data to improve processes and response time for customers. Saved over $200,000 first six months of operation and reduced manpower 20 percent. Global management and control of 30 foreign contractors operating six central and 21 satellite depot level technical libraries in five countries supporting Depot, Intermediate and Organizational level maintenance, repair and modification of all forward deployed Navy/Marine aircraft. Executed contracts with foreign contractors to perform depot level logistics and maintenance for aircraft, support equipment and aeronautical components for Navy and Marine units in Asia and Europe.
