Current● Leader and participant of multiple cross-functional teams with the goal to drive continuous improvement in quality, throughput, working ratio and safety at a Hot-Dip Galvanized Coated operation that processes 500,000 tons of steel annually.● Coordinated and reported on the energy consumption of multiple different galvanizing lines as the Business Unit Energy Leader to achieve BU planned targets of 1.65GJ/tonnes. Led technical investigations to problem solve consumption related issues and create positively focused business plan targets to help AMD achieve its 2030 & 2050 carbon goals. ● Managed equipment integration of new machine guarding to reduce risks to Health & Safety and bring the company up to standards dictated by the Ministry of Labour. Initiated another H&S project regarding machine guarding to be installed H2, 2024.● Commissioned new AMD branded AluSi product mix through process reliability, defect troubleshooting and data analysis to reduce quality losses from reliability concerns by 7% resulting in savings of $500,000.
