I have been attending College full time while doing side work as a private investigator and process server.

I have served as an investigator and a process server off and on since 1997. I branched off into my own business in March of 2012. I conduct surveillance, investigations, write in depth analytical reports, research data bases, use name matching techniques, and serve papers in the southeastern portion of Colorado. Communicate with both clients and suspects.

I was assigned to the Warrior Transition Battalion for the purpose of honorable separation from the United States Army. I worked as volunteer for the El Paso County Sheriff’s department’ emergency response team. During this time I also attended the Department of Labor Transition Assistance Program, Veterans Administration Briefing, civilian and federal resume training and interview preparation. I participated in the AW2 program and have continued to participate in the program.

While Deployed Duties: While assigned to D Co. 1/68 CAB for the purpose of Operation Iraqi Freedom. I planned and led humanitarian food drop and small business/school financial operations in the north eastern area of Baghdad. I conducted investigations into major crimes, terrorist activities, and major incidents in our area of operations. I also conducted security patrol operations in support of Iraqi security measure implementations along with the prevention of terrorism in our area of operations. I entered information into the battalion and company computers to help with identifying potential threats and persons of interest using name matching and identity methods and algorithms. I helped in the creation of the company’s terrorist watch list. I held an Interim Secret Clearance Fort Carson Duties: I served as a platoon Sergeant at the USA Replacement Detachment in support of Fort Carson and First Army Division West. I supervised and in processed platoons of up to 50 soldiers and their families into the community and installation facilities. I was responsible for coordinating transportation requirements for all in-processing functions on a regular basis. I was also responsible for advising the command team on in-processing procedures and policies, to ensure adequate resources were available to accomplish the needs of all assigned soldiers and their families.

While Deployed Duties: I was assigned as a Tank Commander in a worldwide deployable Unit of Action Armor Company as well as a Sphere of Influence (SOI) team leader. I was responsible for the maintenance and accountability of two M1A2 SEP Main Battle Tanks and all associated equipment valued in excess of eight Million Dollars. I conducted investigations of major crimes, terrorist activities and/or major incidents in area of operations. I conducted security/SOI patrols in an effort to fight terrorism in our area of operations. I entered information into the battalion and company computers to help with identifying potential threats and persons of interest using name matching and identity methods and algorithms. I assisted the Platoon Sergeant in planning, conducting and supervising of combat operations and individual training to develop and maintain a combat ready team capable of immediate response to any threat. My attention to detail, oral communication skills and problem solving abilities resulted in no loss of life for the soldiers under my supervision. I held an Interim Secret Clearance. Fort Carson Duties: I served as a gunner in CONUS based, worldwide deployable Unit of Action Armor Company. I was responsible for combat training, health, welfare, morale, safety and development of two soldiers. I assisted in the planning, conducting and supervising of physical fitness. I was also responsible for the accountability and maintenance of one M1A2 SEP Abrams Main Battle Tank and all assigned equipment valued in excess of four million dollars

While Deployed Duties: I served as the Senior Radio Operator for a forward deployed Unit of Action Combined Arms Company. I was responsible for assisting the Battalion Commander in operational command of all operations within the battalion during the initial push into Iraq and subsequent operations. I was the Battalion Commanders personal security detachment as well as one of his two High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) drivers, and the driver of his M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank. I was also responsible for vehicle maintenance and maintenance of all radios in the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) as well as both the Battalion Commanders tank and HMMWV. Fort Carson Duties: I served as the Senior Driver responsible for the accountability of four other drivers as well as driving for the Battalion Commander. I was responsible for the maintenance of the Battalion Commanders HMMWV, radio, and the battalion’s 14 passenger van. I was also responsible for making sure that the Battalion Commander arrived to all needed briefings and/or locations safe and on time.

I worked as a firefighter/EMT for the Colorado National Guard. I attended monthly and annual training as well as attending University of Kansas through Ft. Riley to attain my Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Airport Firefighter, Hazmat Awareness, and Hazmat Operations.

I served as an infantryman, M-249 Squad Automatic Weapon Gunner, M-203 Gunner, and a radio operator.
