About Vincent Senn

I began my journey in emergency services as a firefighting explorer in 1983, laying the foundation for a lifelong commitment to public safety. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, I worked as an EMT with Twin Hills Fire Department, Leggett Valley Fire Department, and the California Division of Forestry, gaining valuable experience in firefighting and emergency medical response. My dedication to service led me to join the U.S. Army in 1992, where I served on active duty until 1999. Following this, I continued my service as a firefighter with the Colorado National Guard until 2001.During my time in the Colorado National Guard, I also served as an EMT Firefighter with the Security Fire Department in Colorado from 1997 until 2002, further honing my skills in emergency response. In 2003, I rejoined the Army on active duty and served until my retirement in 2011. My post-military career included working with Fort Carson Range Control from 2014 until 2016, where I applied my expertise in safety and operations. In 2020, I returned to the Security Fire Department as a volunteer EMT Firefighter and Fire Investigator, roles in which I continue to serve today. In 2021, I expanded my capabilities by joining El Paso County Hazmat as a Hazmat Awareness and Operations responder, and I later advanced to the position of Hazmat Technician. I remain actively engaged in protecting my community through my ongoing work with both the Security Fire Department and El Paso County Hazmat.
