The system implementation team maintains and implements the logistic applications used for the logistics processes.Within the team I'm responsible for the Freight Audit and Payment application. I maintain and implement new customers. Further I created macros for automatically building the general ledger and account codes. The role includes being the internal and external contact person for users and developers in case of issues, improvement requests and new releases.

In this role I'm responsible for the internal and external reporting using Cognos.I take care of building daily, weekly, monthly reports used by all layers of the organization and customers. Reporting is done out of the Freight Management system, Freight Audit and Payment application and Rate Server.

The Rate server contains all carrier rate agreements. The system is consulted by all logistic application and therefore crucial within many processes. During this period I was responsible for the entering and maintenance the Rate Server database. This mean translating rate agreements into specific structures, to enable the external programs to retrieve correct rates based on requested information. For a part of this I’ve created some macro tools to speed up the process.

Daily contact with customers concerning problems with the Waitec products. Taking care of the return of defect goods, repair and replacing. I’ve created a tool in Microsoft Access, to ensure successful handling of the flow of the goods. The tool included packing slips, delivery slip and reporting.

Quality assurance of raw materials and endurance testing of consumables, for which I’ve automated the reporting.
