I currently work as a Field Service Engineer at ASM America in Hillsboro. With this new opportunity at ASM, I am expanding my skill set and industry experience, building upon the foundation developed during my academic journey and previous roles. This role aligns well with my passion for engineering, problem-solving, and hands-on application of technical expertise. I'm eager to continue learning and growing in this challenging field as I transition from my academic pursuits to a professional career. This journey began immediately after I graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University.During my time at Oregon State University, I've been involved in diverse projects alongside my studies, including Plastic Characterization and Rheology, the Clean Water Initiative focusing on seaweed's metal-absorption, the Water Polo Flotation Device project utilizing fluid dynamics, and the cost-effective optimization of processes in the Binary Distillation project. My hands-on experience includes roles such as being a Teaching Assistant for Heat Transfer, where I helped students practically apply heat transfer concepts. As a Laboratory Assistant, I contributed to seaweed-based metal extraction within a dedicated team. Beyond academics, I've collaborated in the Sports Product Development Club and advanced from dishwasher to waiter in the food service sector. Proficient in software such as MATLAB, Microsoft, Julia, Pluto, Hysys, and Aspen Hysys, I'm also well-versed in lab safety and practices. Additionally, I've been actively involved in volunteer work with the American Foundation for Suicide Awareness and recognized for contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
