Similar to my current Ink Scale-Up Manager role, as the Ink Productisation Manager at Xennia my role consisted of enabling a smooth transfer of products from the chemists to the manufacturing plant. In this role I was part of the R&D team and involved at all stages of the development to ensure the products being developed were scalable and commercially.

Fujifilm Sericol is a global leader in the formulation, manufacture and marketing of premium inks and consumables for the Inkjet, Screen and Narrow Web press markets.I worked in the inkjet ink research and development department between 2004 and 2011. During that time my responsibilities steadily increased, managing a team of eight people, visit global.

I worked in the technical service department between 1998 and 2004. In that time, I gained a good knowledge of formulating UV inks and coatings. From 2002 I was spent half of my time visiting and supporting customers technically and commercially. The areas I covered were the UK, Germany and Benelux. Other roles included identifying potential new customers.

I was sponsored by Perstorp Unidur, for the two years of my Master’s degree. The research for the degree was carried out in the laboratories of Perstorp Unidur. During these two successful years, I gained a good foundation of working practices.
