- Work as a mechanical engineer on a 8:6 fifo roster. - Provision of engineering support to construction contract of 1 x HPGR, 2 x pebble crushers, 3 x screens, 17 x conveyors, 2 x wet dust collectors and slurry ducting, and cooling water pipeline.- Review of scope of work prepared by the client, referring to Australian standards and site standards, transfer/translate into internal job packs to create standards and methodologies for modifications, testing and installations. - Work closely with mechanical supervisors on evaluation of project information to determine roles and responsibilities of workers, tools and equipment.- Plan, order, prepare and receive materials required for on-going job packs.- Raise technical querries to the client; document and transfer responses from the client; - Planning and preparation of scope of variations.- Finalisation of project including review of MDR and FIC.

• FIFO on a 8:6 roster;• To perform shutdown inspection of 4 conveyors and 8 chutes;• To conduct Root Cause Analysis investigations and actions to generate incident report and solutions accordingly;• Based on equipment status, to issue job card to supervisors for damage repairs and/or component pre- fab and upgrade;• To perform online components checks of conveyor idlers, belt condition, impact bed condition, dust suppression system status, etc;• To ensure online greasing of motor bearings and pulley bearings done according to plan and keep full records;• To measure thickness of pulleys during shutdowns and suggest change-out plan accordingly;• To liaise with sub-contractors to perform drive unit maintenance jobs, and to perform final inspection using laser alignment system;• To include repair plans into planning bible for upcoming shutdown maintenance;• To prioritise jobs upon evaluations of urgencies, i.e. keeping machine up time, to achieve balance of available labour resources and workloads;• To follow up jobs carried out with supervisors and superintendent to ensure shutdown job packs are performed with required standards and good quality;• To inspect and record unfinished jobs, evaluate importance, and include into shutdown report;• Collect data regarding materials used, labour hours and equipment rented for each job pack and finish costing accordingly;• Issue report to customer upon breakdown;• Coordinate to ensure fastest temporary fix to restore system running;• New project tendering preparation including drawings and technical documents.
