Content included promotional videos, recorded training webinars for the Foundation’s national network of coordinators, and recorded teacher training webinars. Launched the Foundation’s presence on social media on Facebook. From the simple sharing of press releases the profile grew to post training tips, training webinar links, and a greater range of content. The Foundation’s presence eventually expanded to several other social media platforms.Developed an awards program booklet template in Microsoft Word to provide the Foundation’s national network of program coordinator with a standardized look and feel that was easy-to-use and convenient to print on their own to better accommodate last minute changes.Expanded my managing editor duties to include writing and designing the “In the News” newsletter when the original writer and designer retired.

Curriculum manager for The Stock Market Game’s core curriculum. Determined sequence and content for an online teaching resource website. This included managing a team of writers, writing and editing lessons, formatting the lessons for online distribution, and updating lessons after the site launch. This was the first attempt to gather and organize all of the Foundation’s teaching resources into a comprehensive set of curricula.Assisted in the development of test items for a high profile, grant-funded survey of the educational and behavioral impact of Stock Market Game program participation on student and teacher investment knowledge, opinions, and habits.Project Manager for Market Mysteries, a series of text-based online economic brain teasers for students in grades 4-12. Responsibilities included regular check-ins with writers, proofreading site content, approving images, and adjusting the project timeline when needed. This project represented the first time the Foundation expanded its teaching media online.Project Manager for the correlation of the Foundation’s new core curriculum to national and local standards in math, English Language Arts, business, social studies (economics). Responsibilities included regular check-ins with writers, reviewing the correlations, entering the correlations into the system, proofreading site content, and adjusting the project timeline when needed. Program coordinator for newly established Stock Market Game program partnerships between the Foundation and national organizations like FBLA, DECA, Girl Scouts, and the National Congress of American Indians. Responsibilities included technical support and providing each national partner program with customized marketing and enforcing special rules established by each partner.

Established the first “SMG Corner,” an online support resource for a nationwide network of distributors that provided documentation and tools for promoting the Stock Market Game program and managing its administrative tasks.Adapted existing curricula for the inaugural “Learning Resource Center,” an online library of curricula guides, handouts, and other classroom resources. This included deciding the content to be excerpted, formatting the documents to an acceptable file format, and determining lesson sequence.Lead Editor on “The Internet Teachers’ Guide,” a curriculum guide that provided teachers with lessons and activities on conducting research on the internet (an emergent technology at the time).Managing Editor on “In the News,” a national, bi-weekly investor education newsletter for grades 4-12 students.Lead event planner for the Foundation’s annual network-wide symposium and other meetings, including ensuring satisfactory onsite AV accommodations, catering, and entertainment for attendees, guests, special guests, speakers, and staff.Program coordinator for the International Stock Market Game.
