In early May 2015, I will graduate with a Bachelors of Modern Languages with a minor in Business Administration from The Military College of South Carolina, The Citadel. My experience as a student-athlete has given me a unique knowledge in being adaptable and flexible to ever changing and stressful environments. I have studied abroad in Costa Rica and Spain where I immersed into the cultures of Europe and Latin America. Broadening my horizons have piqued my interests of travelling and interacting with people from all over the world.Balancing a competitive seven month wrestling schedule, a heavy class load, and daily military obligations has prepared me for the rigorous environments of the work force both foreign and domestic. Being a student-athlete has instilled an unshakable commitment to any task that is put in front of me. Whether it is during competition or in the classroom, commitment to a job, belief, or a personal goal has been the focal point in my drive to succeed. This is especially important when it comes to a career because it takes a high level of commitment and determination to perform to the best of my ability. The relentless dedication and hard work that I pride myself on has carried over into my professional life which will take place in a form of international business. I now have a strong background in the language, culture, and most importantly, the people. My personal background and experiences has introduced me to all walks of life and prepared me for any situation that I may be approached with. These are very important aspects of life that are very useful in the business world and make me an asset.
