Mr. Vincent Ansah Botchway holds M.Phil degree in Agricultural Administration, BSc degree in Agricultural Science and a certificate in Research Proposal Writing. He has undertaken courses in Animal Science, Crop Science, Soil Science, Biochemistry, Agricultural project analysis and management and marketing. He is a member of CSIR-ARI Business Development Unit, contributing to its work and other commercialization activities. He has relevant experience in agricultural projects and programme implementation. His responsibilities as a Senior Agribusiness Consultant at Plan Consult spans business development, preparation of financial and technical proposals and implementation of contracts. Prior to joining Plan consult he was a member of a team of Researchers for German Development Service, DED for the evaluation of its Micro Finance Support programmes in Ghana with reference to Non-Governmental Organizations, Community Based Organizations and Self Help Initiatives in the Central Region. Mr. Vincent Ansah Botchway has assisted Senior Lecturers at the Department of Agric Economics and Agribusiness, University of Ghana, Legon in many economic and agribusiness studies. This include Modelling Econometric Determinants and Effect of Agricultural Diversification among Cocoa and Food crops Farmers in Western Region of Ghana. He was a team member on studies of “GEF Regional Climate, Water and Agricultural Project: Impacts on and Adaptation of Agro-Ecological Systems in Africa”. He has been involved in implementing many scientific research projects under the Ghana Agricultural Subsector Improvement Programme (AgSSIP).He is quantitatively inclined and analytically oriented and has appreciable knowledge of computer applications.
