As Security Team Manager (STM) I serve as a day-to-day manager of a large site security team of approximately 14 supervisors and 70 security officers holding employees accountable for successful job performance. As assistant of the campus security manager, I am responsible for building a cohesive, well-trained, and high performing security team. Responsible for client service and problem resolution, service enhancement, audit compliance, system monitoring, log maintenance, and access rights maintenance.Directly reporting to the campus security manager, I work alongside with another Security Team Manager on campus. Together we manage all 150+ security personnel at site and both responsible for giving recommendation of corrective actions for security staff and assisting with the delivery of counseling and corrective actions.The Security Team Manager is responsible to maintain required security documentation, ensuring accuracy in accordance with established policies and procedures. All functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical, and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. This requires the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently. Conducting recalling audits and prepare and submit critical and confidential information directly to the client management team.

The Control Room Supervisor is the first to assess and make decisions for daily operations and is a subject-matter expert on the Datacenter Physical Security Operations Standard Operating Procedures. Demonstrating leadership, commitment to the work, and dedication to continued learning, all important things to communicate to other security officers.The CRS as shift leader is responsible for access control, documentation of events, and team dynamics, as well as the general security of the datacenter.Providing guidance on the Security Operations Procedures and making recommendations for improving performance as a site leader with great facility awareness and working knowledge of all doors, cameras, and other entry points to effectively acknowledge alarms and dispatching Responders. Providing them leadership and development opportunities in addition to managing the daily operations of the Security Operations Center that helps drive and motivate a team to succes.

The Responder reports to the assigned Control Room Supervisor (CRS). As Responder you conduct patrols, escalate security events and reports on incidents. When not on patrol a Responder manages hard key checkout and check in and maintain Datacenter Access Control through the Datacenter Access Tool (DCAT) or performs other duties as directed by the CRS, Administrative Officer (AO) or Site Security Manager (SSM).

As planner I was responsible for scheduling shifts with open positions during night shifts and weekends for all accounts within Securitas Area Amsterdam. As first line of contact I was the point of contact for over 1000 employees working within the Area Amsterdam. Responsible for service failure, handling ad-hoc requests for existent and new clients and consulting with Operation Team Leads and Branch Managers. Next to that I was the first point of contact for Securitas national Security Operation Center in Geldrop when an emergency occurred within Area Amsterdam. Therefor I was in direct contact with mobile surveillance departments and possible external parties.In February I also started working as back-up planner working on some day shifts for the Securitas Microsoft Account. With over 300 employees in this fast-growing Branch, you need to be analytical and have a commercial mind set. Always in direct contact with HR, Operation Team Leads, the Branch Manager and colleagues to make sure there was financial continuity and a closing schedule.

The screening supervisor is responsible for inspection of screening officers to ensure personnel are meeting standards. Prepares the shift posting assignments and follows the posting and relief process to ensure all personnel are properly informed. As screening supervisor you conduct ongoing training to ensure screening officers are proficient with operating procedures knowledge and ensures proper screening technique is used. Evaluates, assesses, and analyzes performance of screening officers by conducting drills on operations procedures requirements and performs other duties as directed by management.

The primary function of the screening officer is to ensure that only authorized equipment is allowed to enter or leave secure production areas in order to protect the data maintained inside. The screening officer reports to the assigned screening supervisor and ensures compliance with all required screening procedures and policies.

Department Klant & Service Buitendienst was offering a job opportunity for warehouse manager. As internal employee I applied to this opportunity that was in line with my education. The job, to set-up a warehouse for this department was good for my personal development and a fantastic opportunity.The department needed a warehouse due to large scale up because of the electricity meter changes to smart electricity meters in every household in the Netherlands. With these smart meters, consumers will get more influence on their own consumption patterns. By facilitating consumers with smart meters and combining it with smart technologies through smart home appliances and home automation systems, the participation of consumers in the energy transition was raised. Beyond the benefits for household consumers, the availability of exact consumption data through smart meters became available.I planned how to set-up the warehouse and presented this to management. After agreement I started with coordination of electricity and gas meters including all materials. Making use of the MVOS II warehouse management system for registering I started ordering in the SAP System. I handed out all kinds of electricity and gas meters for the team of smart meter engineers of this department, working in the provinces Noord-Holland and Friesland.After 9 months the warehouse was moved to the warehouse of the NetCare department. Due to circumstances, there was no warehouse manager available at this department to operate this warehouse that was especially for this emergency repair services department. From that moment I managed two separate MVOS II management systems and physically stored all goods in the same building. Also, I was asked to expand my responsibilities and started working as a production planner. Together with a colleague we both became responsible for the administrative preparation for the correct execution of the workflows Technical Support, Data collection and Energy Fraud.
