- Executing administrative and managerial tasks related to the functioning of the organisation, including fundraising activities, management of the team of 40+ volunteers and interns, as well as ensuring proper internal communications and cooperation;- Designing, implementing, and managing research, public advocacy and awareness-raising projects on national and international human rights issues such as modern slavery, rights of prisoners, rights of minorities, conversion 'therapies', death penalty, and international justice;- Conducting desk and OSINT research to document the legal and factual aspects of human rights issues, and drafting documents such as reports, articles, policy briefs, advocacy letters, public statements, Rule 9 communications, as well as social media posts in cooperation with other GROW departments and partner organisations;- Monitoring political, legal developments on a regional and global scale and advising team members as appropriate;- Contributing to implementing advocacy strategies of coalitions targeting the EU and the CoE, notably the coalition for the RtHE at the CoE, the movement to ensure access to safe and free abortion in the EU, and the ECI for an EU-wide ban on conversion ‘therapies’;- Monitoring progress and evaluating the impact of activities with a view to identify best practices and lessons to learn for future projects;- Representing GROW at meetings with civil society actors and other stakeholders.

- Ensuring the efficient and timely implementation of various project-related activities, as well as coordinating meticulously with partners, as well as donor entities, to monitor the progress and results of ongoing projects.- Maintaining regular, effective communication with EIN’s extensive network of over 40 member organisations and 300+ partner entities across Europe.- Collaborating closely with partner organisations to drive the Rule of Law and Freedom of Expression projects forward, working with stakeholders to develop and implement advocacy strategies;- Contributing to the European Commission's Rule of Law report by providing statistical data on implementation of ECtHR judgments;- Actively contributing to the internal planning and execution of fundraising activities, notably by preparing progress reports, drafting grant applications and answering tenders;- Designing and executing advocacy strategies related to the implementation of ECtHR judgments, notably by organising comprehensive advocacy briefings for the Permanent Representation of Member States to the Council of Europe;- Enhancing the visibility of significant legal cases and the impact of advocacy efforts through strategic media work, ensuring broad dissemination and public awareness;- Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust communication strategies tailored to specific projects and the organisation’s overall mission, increasing EIN's visibility and extending its impact significantly.

- Mapping of NGOs working on the protection of Freedom of Expression in the CoE with a view to advocating for international cooperation in the framework of the Freedom of Expression Coalition;- Managing the communication among the 26 organisations composing the Freedom of Expression coalition and fostering its growth through constant stakeholder engagement;- Researching best practices in the field of free speech advocacy by conducting interviews with specialised NGOs with the objective of drafting a research note based on the findings;- Monitoring the progress and results of activities in compliance with reporting obligations and regularly report to funders; Designing and implementing a communication strategy to assist members of the coalition in enhancing the impact of their activities, including through media work and social media campaigns;- Representing EIN at events, among which the CIEL Strasbourg Strategic Retreat for the recognition of the RtHE at the CoE level and the IDAHOBIT symposium organized by the Dutch Representation to the CoE.

- Monitoring the human rights situation of various CoE Member States as well as the legal and political developments, notably on the recognition of a right to healthy environment at the CoE level, LGBTI+ rights, and refugee rights and migration with a view to support the work of the relevant adviser;- Providing support in researching, drafting and proofreading the 2023 activity report as well as in preparing documents for meetings with different stakeholders ranging from civil society to political representatives;- Conducting in-depth legal and factual research with a view to drafting publications on themes such as environmental justice, migrants human rights defenders, and homelessness;- Providing advice to enhance the Office’s communication impact through the use of appropriate social media tools and content, and participating in the dissemination of the Office outputs via NGO and media outreach.

- Engaging in the international, European and national (France and Belgium) advocacy campaign for the recognition of the crime of ecocide, using institutional advocacy means;- Engaging public and private actors to raise awareness and trigger change within their practices and seek their support;- Attending and reporting coalition brief meetings on the developments of the negotiations regarding the revised European Directive on the Protection of Environment through Criminal Law;- Managing and creating content for the website and social media for broad stakeholders (NGOs, companies, individuals).

As an intern, within the Means of Implementation Division, Capacity-Building subdivision, I am tasked with supporting intergovernmental work and negotiations on matters related to capacity-building.I am particularly:- Leading the preparation and organization of the 6th Capacity-building Talk, including the development of event documents, speaker liaison, and moderation support;- Leading the preparation of e-booklet produced by the Informal Coordination Group for capacity-building under the Convention and the Paris Agreement;- Supporting the work of the Paris Committee on Capacity-building (PCCB) and the implementation of its 2021-2024 workplan;- Supporting the UNFCCC capacity-building negotiations, including the preparation and drafting of the 2023 synthesis report on the implementation of the framework for capacity-building in developing countries;- Supporting the implementation of the 12th Durban Forum on capacity-building.

Legal research that combined case-law analysis of recent and influential judicial rulings with open-source investigative techniques, in partnership with New York University Law School:- Conducting corporate research on MNCs exploiting natural resources in the oPt using OSINT tools;- Collecting, analysing, verifying and cross-checking information from a wide variety of sources to identify companies and collect evidence of business alleged violations of human rights;- Conducting interviews with NGOs working in the field (SOMO, Al-Haq, AFPS, ECCJ);- Drafting an investigative report providing advice on strategic litigation avenues in respect of EU/US registered MNCs operating in alleged violation of international law in the oPt to our client Legal Action Worldwide.

- Supporting the EIN Secretariat in mapping NGOs in the Council of Europe countries which the Network could reach out to, in order to invite them to work on the implementation process of ECtHR judgments, on a thematic basis (e.g.: NGOs working on conditions of detention, NGOs working on freedom of expression, etc.). - Liaising with these NGOs and explain them how they could get involved in the implementation process of ECtHR judgments, and develop proposals for joint projects (training events, exchanges, etc.) - Supporting the EIN Secretariat in assessing the progress made on the implementation of specific cases, on the basis of a survey currently organised among EIN members- Supporting EIN in its daily alerts to members and partners, monitoring the CM-DH website for updates on pending cases, and liaising with relevant NGOs (the EIN database will be put at your disposal)- Supporting the EIN staff in its Communication tasks by: contributing to research for the EIN activity report, writing articles and piece news for the EIN website, suggesting tweets, etc- Supporting, on an exceptional basis, with translating documents in French, and liaising in French with French-speaking NGOs, as needed

Research work in relation to the residence and asylum law / Commentary and summaries of administrative and judicial court decisions / Preparation and drafting of law clinic files.

- Operationalising legal support to refugees and asylum seekers, including unaccompanied migrants, and providing advice for their administrative procedures and refugee claim interviews;- Conducting desk research and interviews with refugees and asylum seekers regarding their access to public services during the COVID-19 pandemic;- Drafting a report focusing on refugee and asylum seekers’ needs for assistance in terms of public services in the Hauts-de-France during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the role of NGOs in filling the gaps with State duties.

EU Careers Ambassadors are appointed for an academic year to promote EU Careers within their universities, including through social and other media, attending events and giving presentations, answering students' questions, and building networks in the university, with local EU representations, colleagues in the national government and others.
