In my present role on the IBM Technology Expert Labs IBM i HA/DR Delivery team (formerly known as Lab Services), I provide a wide variety of services to customers of every size and every business sector.My specialties are primarily minimal downtime migrations and implementations of virtualized environments on IBM Power hardware using technologies such as PowerVM Virtual I/O Servers (VIOS), NPIV Fiber Channel, vNIC and SR-IOV in high-availability environments based on IBM external storage (IBM DS or FlashSystems) with storage level replication (Metro-Mirror, Global-Mirror). I also help customers with Safeguarded Copy, IBM MQ, and too many other products to mention.My IBM i experience stretches back to the initial introduction of the AS/400 and its predecessor systems: System/32, System/34, and System/36. I also have extensive AIX implementation and administration experience with over seven years dedicated to AIX exclusively.I’ve done more that a little of most every aspect of computing including development, software architecture, infrastructure administration, system administration, process automation, database administration, performance management, networking, and security.
