At my first job as an administrative clerk, I saw that a lot of daily processes could be improved because Microsoft Office's automation options were not used at all. After implementing a few improvements as an interim, I started to delve into Excel and VBA.At Patrans, I was hired as an IT Developer to merge two different branches of the company. Here, I migrated one of our largest customers from start to finish to a new TMS/WMS package, which was already being used in the other branch. As a result, I gained deep knowledge of our systems, which made me responsible for structured data exchange with customers (EDI). The most important example of this is a SAP integration of another customer, where all stock movements were interfaced to the customer.Furthermore, I constantly worked on the improvements of our daily processes, which means I was also greatly involved operationally, trained colleagues, wrote out procedures and corrected administrative errors. Finally, I ran all kinds of reports at the request of my colleagues and I was the first point of contact for IT-related problems. At the end of April 2024, I left Patrans on my own terms, because I needed a new challenge.After a short interim period at Kuehne + Nagel, I started as ICT Project Coordinator at Aflaflex to develop my professional career, at the end of June 2024. I want to grow in project management and become a real expert within the Microsoft ecosystem. The first big project is a migration to Business Central and the start-up of a WMS package. This is being implemented in cooperation with an external partner.In September 2024 I also started a Postgraduate training Business Analysis at the UCLL, to grow professionally and to learn how to work more effectively. The topics present in these courses, allow me to fulfill our business needs in a more structured manner.
