I am a Chartered Accountant with a decade of experience in the corporate advisory and restructuring fields. I have worked/managed several domestic and international restructuring engagements, notably the USD$9 billion global restructuring for Asia Pulp and Paper, and the liquidation of Lehman Brothers in Singapore and Thailand.Until recently, I was an independent contractor engaged by the lead forensic investigator for the Bank of Mauritius, looking into the USD$690 million failure of a Mauritian based financial group, British American Investment Group. We ultimately produced a report for the Bank of Mauritius, outlining the findings of the investigation. Other independent contractor engagements involved independent assessment of enterprise value for an engineering firm (to enable equitable share buybacks from shareholders), interim CFO for an online payments solution provider in China and Taiwan, interim Contracts Manager for an engineering firm (set up standard protocols to ensure consistency), among others.Clients and colleagues view me as a driven individual, always looking ahead for potential challenges and proposing solutions for mitigation.
