Vince Messina is a Managing Director at TCW. In this role, he is responsible for crafting data strategy as well as the utilization and governance of data across the organization.Prior to joining TCW in 2017, Vince was a Director of Alternatives at Schroder Investment Management North America, Inc., where he served as Portfolio Manager, Hedge Fund Specialist as well as a member of the Risk and Control Committee. Previously, he was with EMF Financial Products for 14-years where he was a Principal/Partner and most recently served as Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, he co-founded Maple Street Capital which specialized in allocations to relative value hedge fund strategies and offered a fund that was listed on the Irish Stock Exchange. He began his career at Coast Asset Management and advanced to Vice President of Technology, also serving on the firm’s Executive Advisory Committee.Vince earned a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, as well as an MBA with Honors in Finance from the UCLA Anderson School of Business.Vince also serves as a Board Member, Treasurer, and Advisor for the Pánfila Domestic HOPE Foundation.
