VINCENT D. REESE, ESQ.I am the Managing Partner of Mickes O'Toole, LLC (Mickes O'Toole) in St. Louis, Missouri. I focus my practice on Labor and Employment Law, Education Law and Commercial Litigation. I have successfully litigated employment discrimination claims based on race, sex, age, disability, religion, national origin, and pregnancy in Missouri and Illinois State Courts as well as many federal district courts around the country.I also have extensive experience in representing my clients’ interests with respect to investigations conducted by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission; the U.S. Department of Labor; the Missouri Commission on Human Rights; and numerous other governmental agencies.In addition to representing my clients in employment litigation matters and administrative proceedings, I also frequently advise my clients on covenants not-to-compete and unfair competition matters. I regularly conduct seminars and in-house training programs for human resources, supervisory, and managerial personnel. In my traditional Labor Law practice, I advise and counsel clients on all aspects of labor-management relations under the National Labor Relations Act. I have successfully guided numerous clients through NLRB and Missouri State Board of Mediation representation proceedings.I am a member of the Missouri and Illinois Bars. I have been a frequent speaker for the EEOC’s Technical Assistance Program and have authored or co-authored numerous articles on employment-related matters. I am a Vice-Chair of the Missouri Bar’s Labor & Employment Law Committee and a member of the American Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section, where I have served as a contributing editor of the Developing Labor Law treatise. I am also an adjunct law professor at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis where I teach Pre-Trial Pratice and Procedures.Prior to commencing my legal career, I worked as a mortgage broker and as a credit and collections manager. I also served as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1991 to 2003.
