My first media job was in the year 1994 with Explocity in Bangalore, a pioneering media company in the business of publishing print/online city guides nationally/internationally. I played multi-faceted roles in the company, from business operations to launching new offices in major cities in India & abroad.They say a crisis is a terrible thing to waste. My own crisis-laden question was ‘what next’? I decided to join India's IT, R&D and tech enabled services industry, which fortuitously led me to my entrepreneurial path to date. In 2004, Theorem, Inc. in Bangalore hired me as one of their team managers. Client services and new business development in varied geographies was added to my roster of duties.Tom Culley, a former McKinsey consultant wrote, "My rule is, survival first, then success - however long it takes. Slow ain't sexy, but it sure beats falling on your face."
