About Vincent Senez
Vincent Senez received the Eng. Degree from ISEN college of engineering, Lille, France and the PhD degrees from the University of Lille, Lille, France, in 1990 and 1995, respectively. He entered the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) as junior scientist in 1999. In 2002-2004, he was director of the Laboratory for Integrated Micromechatronic Systems (LIMMS), Tokyo, Japan, a mixed research unit between CNRS and the Institute of Industrial Science (IIS) of the University of Tokyo. From 2008, as CNRS research director, he settled a multidisciplinary research group to develop activities in the broad area of microfluidics and lab-on-a-chip technologies at the Institute of Electronics, Microelectronics and Nanotechnologies (IEMN), Lille, France. From October 2018, he joined the Institute of Cancer Research of Lille (IRCL), Lille, France to promote diffusion of BioMEMS technologies in a clinical environment. His research interests include microfluidics and MEMS technologies as well as instrumented organs-on-a-chip.
