Vincent Toranzo is an active political science and public administration student attending Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Toranzo has experience with the inner workings of municipal and federal government functions, specializing in public policy and administrative skills. He served as the State Secretary of the Florida Association of Student Councils, advocating for the inclusion of student voices in their community. In a historic appointment on February 2021, U.S. President Joseph R. Biden chose Toranzo, 18 years old at the time, to serve on the national COVID-19 Health Equity Task Force, which was charged with addressing coronavirus-related health and social inequities. Since 2022, he has served as the Secretary of Government Relations for FIU’s Student Government Association. Mr. Toranzo was awarded the U.S. President's Award for Educational Excellence and a Citizenship Award for School and Public Service by U.S. House Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
