Responsible for providing sustained joint oversight on the expeditious processing and movement of military mail globally, direct supply and equipment support to postal units supporting over 1 Million military, dependents, and DOD civilians stateside and in over 85 countries world-wide. Hand-selected to lead Military Postal Operations during it most challenging period in history; disestablish two separate joint commands (East and West Coast) and consolidate DoD mail operations in a single location in Chicago within six months with zero disruptions in mail service worldwide. Directly engaged SES level leadership from various government agencies and United States Postal Service to correct systemic processes and procedures that had plaqued the DoD mail movement. Ensured over 350 million pounds of military mail, totaling 700 million dollars in transportation cost were delivered to 100 countries worldwide. Implemented the use of new shipping pallets which saved DoD over 9 million dollars in transportation cost. JMPA earned the prestigious Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Shipper Performance Award for both east and west coast operations four consecutive years; 900 sea-land containers shipped, 22 million pounds of mail totaling $6.5 million dollars in transportation cost. .
