Continuation of my B100 Engineering & Admin Support Co-op position at Sanofi Pasteur under the Process Engineer Team, but as an external consultant under ICON Consultants● Supported Downstream Purification/Lab Equipment systems as a system owner ● Supervised and supported on-boarding of three new Process Engineer Co-ops ● Commissioned and verified the functionality of 50+ GxP/Non-GxP over-the-counter lab equipment units (Ex. Peristaltic Pumps, Filter Integrity Testers, Shaker Incubators, etc) with the collaboration of the automation, commissioning, metrology & quality teams● Participated in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of project non-conformances (deviations) and provided support for the Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA) plans impacting project lab equipment systems● Completed Engineering Handover to B100 Project Operations Team for 20+ lab equipment units by the end of the summer; ensured all engineering/commissioning documents are post-approved and end users are trained on the systems● Executed User Requirement Specification (URS) commissioning test scripts verifying the tested lab equipment units met all technical & health and safety requirements during the systems' installation verification stage● Reviewed and post-approved commissioning documents for technical content and GDP requirements during Installation Verification, Start Up & Shake Down, Operational Verification and Close Out phases of a system’s commissioning lifecycle

● Part of Downstream Purification Process Engineering Team for the new B100 Project Bulk Manufacturing Facility for the production of antigens for tetanus, diphtheria and five-component acellular pertussis (5acP) vaccines● Hands on experience with chromatography, ultra filtration and column packing systems with their associated instrumentation devices such as temperature, pressure, flowrate, pH, and conductivity sensors● Responsible for as-building engineering documentations; redlined/blacklined technical documents such as Functional Component Criticality Assessments (FCCA), Bill of Materials (BOM), Clean/Steam In-Place (CIP/SIP) Flowpath Drawings, Configuration Specifications, Construction and Vendor Turn Over Packages (CTOD/VTOD) and P&IDs● Generated and executed Engineering Change Controls (ECC) throughout CQ phase of B100 project to solve technical problems impacting purification systems● Trained in the Emerson DeltaV Automation System for process control to troubleshoot and run system sequences on production shop floor● Experienced with using data historian system PI Vision for graphing and processing critical instrument data trends to troubleshoot engineering problems● Collaborated with site quality operations, commissioning, automation, metrology, maintenance, and document control teams to implement necessary changes to close ECCs and complete over 250+ in-field punch items via Fieldwire● Familiar with reading and understanding automation documents such as Parameter & Recipe Specifications (PRS), Software Design Specifications (SDS), Functional Specifications (FS) and Design Specifications (DS)● Proficient in reading and understanding Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and isometric drawings
