I graduated with full marks in 2016 as Energy and Nuclear Engineer in Politecnico di Torino (Turin, Italy). My studies focused on the neutronics (both deterministic and Monte Carlo methods) and thermo-fluid dynamics of fission reactors, but courses about other energy sources were also part of my formation.In 2017 and until 2021, after a brief parenthesis in an Italian company operating in the field of radioactivity, I did my PhD in Villigen (canton Aargau, Switzerland) in applied superconductivity. The superconductivity group belongs to Swiss Plasma Center, located in the campus of the university EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland). The goal of my experimental thesis was the development of electrical joints between low temperature superconductors operating at high magnetic field and current. This involved the structural and electromagnetic design, as well as tests at cryogenic temperature. The successful development of several prototypes was recognized by EPFL with the conferment of the PhD title in Physics.Since 2022, I've been working at HBI Haerter AG as Project Engineer for tunnel ventilation systems, involving aero and thermodynamics studies for national and international projects.
