    During this time, I was mainly involved in checking timesheets and contractors record, whilst shadowing a senior member of the staff dealing with the payroll. I was moreover involved with bank/petty cash reconciliations, as well as matching invoices and payments on our accounting software (QuickBooks) and uploading/checking expenses, processing them on our payroll software (Merit). The highlight of the Intern, which was surely one of the reason I was hired afterwards is that I have been working on a project I proposed to our Senior Accountant: I have been analysing our company performances since 2010 in order to get a clearer picture of the main revenue streams throughout the year, suggesting to reactivate old accounts which were making money to the company in the past and reducing the dependence on the main customers in order to reduce the risk related to one or more of them not buying anymore. This helped us to also formulate more accurate forecasts about future cash flows.
