I am an accomplished senior business and systems analyst with over 25 years experience in the Financial Services sector: particularly in pensions, life, savings and investments.Most recently I've been performing an integration role, supporting the delivery of several large and complex programmes. This has included regulatory and propositional change, as well as the organisational change brought about by acquisitions and restructures. Some of my key responsibilities have been:🟢 Proposing analysis and design phases in line with business priorities🟢 Supporting business analysts with quality control and challenge of requirements / user stories🟢 Ensuring solutions are delivered according to business and solution architecture 🟢 Working closely with multiple internal areas on the end to end solution🟢 Producing target state process maps and data flows🟢 Third party engagement: including outsourcing partners, investment managers, platform and software providers🟢 Planning and reviewing system and UAT test phases.I also have experience in architecture and strategy, having completed a secondment into the business architecture function.Technically I'm experienced in data mapping and modelling, SQL, COBOL, batch, GUI design, XML and service oriented architecture. My route into analysis was via a customer service role, moving formally into project work as I gained knowledge and experience. My commitment to excellent customer service has translated to a delivery focus and I enjoy working with business partners and project stakeholders to understand their key objectives and priorities.Outside of work I'm a member of a community choir, which is a lot of fun and very rewarding. I love cinema, theatre and music - I try to attend as many live events as I can.
