I am responsible for supervising a team of support engineers responsible for providing legendary support for Atlassian products.

My focused on providing support for Atlassian's enterprise wiki product Confluence. My day to day duties include: technical lead, escalation management, leading support improvement projects and mentoring of junior engineers to ensure successful deployment of Confluence at our customer sites. The support aspects involve identifying root cause for reported customer issues with Confluence and to provide appropriate solutions to minimise customer down time and customer business impact. Resolution of customer issues involves code error diagnosis, code development, testing, validation and implementation so there is an extensive requirement for the Senior Support Engineer to be able to read and understand JAVA code to determine behaviour and function.
