Vin has overt three decades of experience advising large, public, multinational companies on financial, accounting, auditing, regulatory, and governance matters and has held various management positions of increasing responsibility. As PWC Vice Chair, he was a leader of all aspects of Assurance, Tax, and Advisory practice development and service delivery, with a significant focus on the Firm’s go-to-market alliance partners. He has significant experience working with the most complex and challenging situations among PWC’s elite client portfolio across a diverse range of industries. Notably, Vin led the AIG engagement in the post-financial crisis period, working with the Board of Directors and new management in conjunction with representatives from the New York Fed and the US Treasury. Vin has strong strategic and operational skills. In his role running the Firm’s US $5 billion Assurance practice with 17,000+ partners and staff, his leadership accountability encompassed strategy, business development, quality, human capital management, technology applications and innovation, regulatory relations, risk management, acquisition/disposition counsel, marketing, and a strong personal involvement in mentoring management teams. Additionally, Vin has extensive global market experience serving on PWC’s Global Assurance Executive Leadership team. As the former leader of PWC’s National Office, Vin led the transformation and change management to position the operation as a strategic asset of the Firm in the post-SOX era to uniquely compete in the marketplace. In addition, Vin possessed outstanding judgement skills while he navigated the most challenging and complex situations across the Firm’s client base as the ultimate decision-maker on professional and technical matters for the Firm. Vin received his BS in Accounting, magna cum laude, from St. John’s University, and is a CPA.
