Vindhya Gupta is an Indian filmmaker, currently based out of New York City. After studying literature, she wrote theater productions, radio plays and commercials. She’s now making films and learning the craft at NYU. Inspired by the flaws of human nature, Vindhya seeks to unravel the tremendous stories people tell and the acts that they perform on an everyday basis.She was recently awarded the Sarah Driver Post Production Grant for a curricular project which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival 2024. It is now going to open in Australia before traveling to other regions of the world. At present, she is working on her first feature which is slated to be shot in her hometown in Lucknow.
