Heading the Consumer Brands Division of SHL which generated 250 million revenue to the company. Working in my capacity, I have lead a team of 5, towards a revenue growth of 40% YOY at a GP of 30%. The brand portfolio am responsible for, consists of 6 Own brands, 6 Principal brands and 10 New products in the pipeline.

Was responsible for 2 Own brands and 2 Principal brands, while leading 2 NPD projects successfully from start to launch; namely the child nutrition specialist brand CELIA from Lactalis France & EVERYUTH, the first personal care brand to SHL from Zydus Wellness. I was also an active member in the Innovation Team for the Group Company.

Successfully launched 4 Own brands to the company’s OTC portfolio; namely PEDIA PLUS, MAMA PLUS, ENLIVE & DIABETA PLUS. The growing up milk powder brand Pedia Plus, was able to gain 10% volume market share within the first 2 years of launch and the maternal nutrition formula brand Mama Plus achieved 8% volume market share within the first year of launch.

I was responsible for the Liquid & Cultured milk brands of Fonterra including ANCHOR NEWDALE FLAVOURED MILK, ANCHOR NEWDALE FRESH MILK, ANCHOR BUTTER and ANCHOR CHEESE.I was part of the team which won the Fonterra Global Innovations Award for 2010.

I have undergone the comprehensive management trainee program of Fonterra, covering all functions including sales & marketing, manufacturing & supply chain as well as HR & finance, which have added much depth towards my business acumen.

As a BDM, I was responsible for developing and bringing new businesses to two companies of the group company, namely Mike Flora (Horticulture arm of the business) & Mike Biotech (Plant tissue culture arm of the business). I was able to penetrate the Australian market which is considered a very tough market to export given the quarantine quality standards.
