Together with skilled and dedicated colleagues, my goal is to improve the quality of life for as many people as possible.This is my ambition for my business, Nordic Osteopathy.It's an ambition for all the people I'm responsible for - my patients as well as my colleagues (the osteopaths who have partnership agreements with Nordic Osteopathy).My choices, actions, and beliefs are strongly inspired by complexity theory, systemic thinking, and Appreciative Inquiry.We are all interdependent with the people and the world we interact with! Who are we without relationships?I believe in the assumption that people and communities move in the positive direction that their vision of the future points towards.My fundamental belief about leadership is that; "the goal of an organization is to support its individual elements (and their relationships) as best as possible. By ensuring that the individual elements function optimally together (there is synergy among them), they can grow together - more than if they were separate" [elements are primarily colleagues but also include the environments and objects we interact with].As a leader, I have a responsibility for the well-being, joy, and health/life quality of my colleagues, since we spend the majority of our adult lives at work - this is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly, in my opinion. I believe that by maintaining this focus, my colleagues will take equally good care of the people they are responsible for - our patients and each other.We aim to achieve this through a concept we have named "a Value-based, Culture-driven, Learning Community."A set of values and a culture built on trust, co-ownership, and responsibility. Through this, Nordic Osteopathy strives to contribute to both collective and individual development of everyone connected to the clinic (you can read more about this by visiting nordiskosteopati.dk/corevalues/).Finally, it should be emphasized that these visions, goals, and efforts serve as guiding principles. Something I always aim for, but never expect to be fully satisfied with. There is always room for improvement, one should never settle.
