I am passionate about creating a culture that better serves communities and individuals, especially those historically stigmatized and marginalized. As a scientist, storyteller, and public servant I leverage my expertise in cognitive behavioral neuroscience, nutritional science, narrative therapy and futurism to work on projects that create better access to public health and individual well-being. My services include individual nutrition counseling, public speaking services, experiential workshops, and consultation to institutions.I value the anti-oppressive, trauma-informed work that centers around inclusivity, compassionate care, trust, responsibility, humility, respect, and knowledge. My vision is to empower individuals and communities to practice resilience through mindful connection, interoceptive awareness and optimistic state of mind. Over the years, my professional and personal development has helped me understand that we learn and gain knowledge through many models such as the objective, impartial, linear processes and also through everyday experiences, mindful observation, embracing gifts of intuition, instruction from specialized knowledge holders, introspection and through embodiment.
