Headed Marketing Communications for Saab in India. Saab, from Sweden, is among the world's leading defence and aerospace companies, with a very strong focus on innovation, R&D and building future-ready systems. I was Responsible for: • Devising and implementing communications strategy and action plans for India • Building brand awareness about Saab and key products and projects through online/offline advertising, presence at industry events, and media engagement• Managing social media strategy for India• Handling product marketing campaigns for systems such as Gripen, RBS 70 NG, et al.• Managing media relations, and media buying across print, online, trade publications and TV. • Writing a whole lot of ad copy, articles and more.

• I launched an educational venture in the field of coaching for management entrance exams, running two coaching centers in Gurgaon. I was one of three partners that founded the business. I was looking after all aspects of marketing, including social media, on-ground branding and identification of potential customers. I was also the English faculty. • I launched a cafe called Caffeine in June 2009 in an office complex in Noida. Took care of all aspects of setting up the business, including staffing, vendor management, décor, branding and logistics.

Handled key branding/marketing/event responsibilities, including Digital Media Marketing of campaigns such as Lead India and Teach India.
