Research intern at the CoCoA lab (originally OUNLP lab at Oakland University) run by Professor Wilson. Worked on three NLP projects. 2024-2025: Working on Multilingual Characterization and Extraction of Narratives from Online News in SemEval 2025. 2023-2024: Worked on answering questions that involve reverse thinking and wordplay in Semeval 2024. Engineered prompts in models like GPT 3.5, GPT 4.0, Gemini, and languagemodels package. Published paper on related research through the SemEval conference in NAACL 2024’s (North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics) proceedings. Virtually presented work at the conference in Mexico City. 2022-2023: Worked on the Clickbait Spoiling project in Semeval 2023. Learned Natural Language Processing through the hugging face interface. Developed a two-level Clickbait spoiling algorithm to efficiently and accurately spoil clickbait articles. Presented work at the JSHS science fair. Published paper on related research through the SemEval conference in ACL 2023’s (Association for Computational Linguistics) proceedings. Presented poster on work at the conference in Toronto.

Worked on various brain segmentation tasks using machine learning in the SMILES lab.

Conducted population/species-level analysis of the evolution of LCRs in relation to pangenome in 3 Enterobacteria species. Work presented in Society for Molecular Biology and Evolution (SMBE2024).

Intrepid Control System software intern. I worked on the flagship Vehicle Spy X codebase and created scripts for interface and client testing.

Conducted directed evolution study in Vibrio natriegens with streptomycin in chemostat. Sequenced mutants and created primers for identified genes.

Created educational material to teach about the stock market. Published two courses, one for beginners and one for advanced, to teach 10000+ students. 4.5 star instructor rating with 100+ reviews.
