Vineeta Rai, Phd Email and Phone Number
I am a passionate, detail-oriented, organized, analytical scientist with 10+ years of research experience in metabolomics, proteomics, molecular biology, and big-data analysis skills. My current work focuses on employing targeted and untargeted metabolomics analyses to understand primary and secondary cellular metabolites and their regulation w.r.t. plant-soil feedback. I obtained 4th and 2nd rank respectively in Bachelor in Industrial Microbiology (B.Sc.) and Master in Biochemistry (M. Sc.) from Patna University. I qualified for the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research - University Grants Commission (CSIR-UGC) Eligibility for Lectureship. Subsequently, I obtained my Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Life sciences Bhubaneswar (National laboratory DBT, Govt of India). I am a recipient of several awards and have published 17 peer-reviewed original research and review articles, book chapters, and patents (https://scholar.google.com/citations?user=SpllgAQAAAAJ&hl=en&oi=ao). I have successfully conducted multi-centric research ventures and various international scientific events and workshops in the recent past. I am associated with multiple scientific organizations such as the Metabolomics Association of North America (MANA), American Society of Mass Spectrometry (ASMS), Proteomics Society of India (PSI), Indian Society of Cell Biology (ISCB), American Society of Plant Biologist (ASBP), and American Phytopathological Society (APS). I am an editorial board member for the Indian Journal of Genetics and Molecular Research. I serve as a peer reviewer for many international journals, including Plant Biotechnology Journal, Gene, Plants, Genes, Journal of Scientific Research and Reports, Journal of Proteins and Proteomics, Process Biochemistry (Web of Science ResearcherID: AAN-2701-2020).
