I was primarily involved in documenting business requirements, process improvement and quality assurance. I was also involved in team management, designing, testing and requirement analysis of various products and projects being implemented in Agile methodology. As part of the Scrum team, I was driving all the Scrum ceremonies like stand-ups, grooming, sprint planning, retrospective meetings, sprint planning and mainly the sprint reviews (demos).Highlights:• Responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and proposing innovative solutions. I worked closely with various stakeholders, including business managers, technology teams, and customers, to gather requirements, define project objectives, and ensure successful project delivery.• Project Management: Capital One typically follows an agile project management methodology, and as a business analyst, I collaborated with cross-functional teams to prioritize tasks, track progress, and manage project timelines. I would drive project planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.• Data Analysis: Capital One is known for its data-driven approach, and as a business analyst, I worked extensively with data to gain insights and make informed decisions. I would leverage analytical tools and techniques to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and opportunities that can drive business growth.• Stakeholder Management: Effective communication and relationship management are vital in a business analyst role. I would engage with stakeholders at different levels of the organization to understand their needs, collaborate on solutions, and provide regular project updates. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language are crucial for success.
