Made following contributions in the Azure Migrate product under the Azure Core (Compute) org: - Was one of the founding team members who built the Azure Migrate product, a unified platform to simplify migrating and modernizing workloads in Azure. - Led a multi-year project across multiple teams in the org to build the Azure Migrate Engine, an extensible platform that enables partners (both 1P/3P) to plug in their capabilities in the platform and provide customers with various offerings for migrating and modernizing their data center workloads in Azure. This engine is powered by the ModernizeProjects resource, provided by Microsoft.Migrate RP in Azure Resource Manager (ARM). - Led a team of developers, PMs & designers on an incubation project, to build the Azure Migrate: App Containerization tool, a standalone software which helps customers in modernizing their data center web applications on different Container-as-a-Service platforms in Azure (Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure App Service...etc). Got great opportunities to work with awesome leaders (including @bburns, @charun...).- Led a team of developers, PMs & designers to build the Azure Migrate Hub, a suite of tools that help customers discover, assess, migrate and modernize their data centers workloads, comprising of infrastructure, databases, and applications, with Azure.

Made following contributions in the Azure Site Recovery (ASR) product under the Azure Core (Compute) org: - Worked on the control plane stack of ASR, a cloud-based business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) solution for machines (physical/virtual). - Worked on building a failover health model of replicated machine instances and improved the failover reliability to Azure by ~25%, attaining SLAs of 97%+. - Worked on enabling the support for creating Azure VMs backed by, high-performance and durable block storage, Azure Managed Disks, instead of Unmanaged disks, which were based on page blobs, during failover of replicated instances to Azure. - Worked on enabling the support for creating Azure VMs in an availability set during failover of replicated instances to Azure. - Re-architected the active monitoring system for Azure Site Recovery, improving the TTD (Time-To-Detect) by ~67%. - Owned the on-premises component, Disaster Recovery Adapter (DRA), and handled onboarding challenges of critical customers on the platform.

Made the following contributions as an Intern at Seller Central, Amazon India:- Made multiple enhancements to improve the sellers experience in the Seller Central, a distributed system portal powering the e-commerce transportation of Amazon in India.- Ranked 1st in India and 5th Worldwide in the first ever Intern Hackathon organized by Amazon at a global level. The problem statement for the hackathon was to optimize the resource governance in the fulfillment centers. I led a team, comprising of 5 interns from our college, to implement a solution based on K-means clustering algorithm.
