Must independently prepare a quote, utilize schedule air contracts, hotel resumes, margin profiles, group policies, and special agreements. Utilize Sabre Reservation System to extract best contracted air fares. Utilize GQT (Group Quoting Tool) to produce and execute accurate group rates. Cross check all pricing, costs, charges and margin to ensure quotes are accurate. Ensure hotel contracts are reviewed for each quote to understand for group policies such as Tour Conductor offers, special rates, specific procedures for requests, wedding offer etc. Work with hoteliers, suppliers, airlines and ground handlers for current group information. Liaise with Sales (BDM) to promote business, solicit key accounts and close deals. Participate and assist in trade shows, launches, VIP receptions and sales functions. Meet with hoteliers and attend hotel seminars as required on or offsite. Action and promote special offers by way of GQT, emails, phone solicitation etc.Manage client file from beginning to end ensuring smooth sale process. Follow-up on Group Quotes to determine potential sale. Cross sell, apply incentives and provide necessary practices to close the sale. Once group quote been accepted, start the booking procedures- secure flight PNRS, contact hotel directly to secure group space. Create the contract invoice complete with pertinent information. Proactively follow up with the agent to collect final payments or any special deadline dates. Once final payment been applied, release tickets to agents at 45 days prior to group depart
