I am an experienced interior designer, providing high quality residential and commercial interiors across Southern Africa. To me, good design enables a space to reach its full potential by combining considered choices with a sense of boldness. With an eye for quality and a client-centered approach to business, I offer a balance of creativity, collaboration and forward thinking with a structured, organised and detailed mentality. By doing so, my clients can achieve the best of both worlds – their design vision, matched with affordability.In 2018, I founded DIYgirls INTERIOR – one of SA’s top 10 interior design Companies*, which specialises in turnkey projects and the manufacture of decorative accessories, as well as durable, eco-friendly furniture. By choosing high-performance, green fabrics for our product range, I strive to help curb the rise in environmental degradation. I further encourage zero-waste in the manufacture of our products, by sewing off-cut fabric (which most companies discard as waste) together to make quilted blankets. In 2021 alone, DIYgirls donated more than 200 of these blankets to organisations that serve the less fortunate. A philanthropist at heart, I am passionate about inspiring change and making a real impact in our country. With that, most of the products at DIYgirls are hand-made by women, with the aim of empowering them by providing a platform where women can showcase their talents and realise their power.As an entrepreneur, I was a finalist for the globally recognised Woman of Stature Award in 2022. * Recognized by the Home Décor Expo in 2021
