Accountabilities:- Plan, deploy and control operation of dewatering wells.- Carry out studies to make viable new permits as well as to maintain existing ones.- Perform numeric groundwater modeling for projects, operation and closure of Vale's mines, in Brazil and abroad, for any mineral assets.- Conduct water resources management, elaborating groundwater availability studies, defining water sources for projects and implementing water use management in the operational units.- Provide hydrogeological investigations, including survey and interpretation of hydrodynamic parameters in the field, sizing and implementation of monitoring network.- Coordinate, monitor and evaluate hydrochemical investigations to assess the quality of surface and groundwater.- Accompany the development of hydrogeological projects, studies and consultancies, developed internally or externally contracted, adopting the internal criteria of project development, including the inspection of contracts in the case of external contracting.- Support the Environment area with regard to environmental licensing and environmental management, including the preparation of studies and the issuance of reports.- Participate in technical missions to evaluate business opportunities and due diligence in the area of ​​operation.- Follow-up of governmental agencies inspections.- Attend and consolidate Corporate demands and support Vale´s operations.
