Working as a contractor as a web developer for an agency in Utah, experience gained in Angular 8 and GraphQL

Front End Website and Web Application using Angular 7 for the Startup LinkMeUp located in Utah

While studying English in the US, I saw an opportunity to walk dogs for busy New Yorkers. I created a multi-media website complete with photography and videography, built up social media channels, received recommendations from current clients, and reached out to potential new clients at dog parks.

During the spring and summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to work full time as CCTV and cabling technical assistant in small and medium business of New Jersey. I installed routers and built LAN web for schools in New York, installed projectors. In this job I learned about the best practices for cabling ethernet CAT5.

I secured a commercial partnership with the Buena Vista marketing agency to find new clients interested in marketing consulting. I reached out to businesses and sold the social media and web services offered by Buena Vista. In the short 3 months I worked with Buena Vista before leaving for the US, I was successful in securing 4 new clients for the agency.

Developed of the front-end of web applications using HTML, CSS, Javascript, and basic jQuery. Working with two back-end programmers, I created and developed the front-end of all the software for the company. The main software I built was an application to help accountants find inconsistencies on federal, state, and municipal tax forms.

Near the end of college, I was invited to assume the position of Director of Marketing for Inove Consultoria Jr, run by my college, Faculdade Juiz De Fora. I managed the campaigns, events and services provided by the organization. Additionally, I gave a talk on neuromarketing at a promoted event to an audience of 60 people, 20% more than was expected.

I managed the Novaprolink group’s events. My responsibilities included organizing, sponsoring and exhibiting. I dealt with the whole process from hiring the entire range of suppliers to supervising the delivery of products and services in these events. I sold software for lawyers, primarily a company called CPPRO, a complete office and legal digital platform manager. I studied the practice of telephone sales, approach and presentation, negotiation and closing. That period sparked a passion for psychology and neurolinguistics that empowered me to identify different personalities and most persuasive tools for salespeople. After 18 months, I was promoted to the position of Marketing Analyst and Events.

Because of my previous experience, I started collecting clients who had some problems with the payment of the softwares of Novaprolink. I studied the best approaches and rules for bill collecting. After 13 months, I was promoted to the sales department of Novaprolink.

I collected overdue bills of cell phone from small and midsize businesses. After one year and three months, I was selected to be part of the staff that collect bills from large companies. I analyzed clients complaints regarding invoices, and reconciled discrepancies between clients claims and the bills.
