Participated on the PLSV Offshore Engineer Program, which gave some Project Engineers the opportunity to embark every month on one of the company’s vessel (Seven Waves). During this period the engineers had some responsibilities as developing solutions in order to prevent operations down time; assess any kind of improvements that could be done on the vessel; act as an interface between the onshore engineers and the vessel, discussing the operations and delivering solutions to queries on-time. After every period onboard, a technical note was issued to describe all the activities onboard.Worked on the preparation of the Executive Procedures used onboard the Day Rate Contract vessels. Mainly, I have worked with the Normand 7 PLSV, which is a horizontal lay vessel with a top tension capacity of 300t. During this time, I could improve my knowledge about flexible pipes and umbilical installation, and brought with me the experience gained on the previous EPCI projects that I worked on. With such experience, it was possible to give the other engineers a different view of how the company developed some projects, and how we could use that expertise on the flexible and umbilical laying projects.

Went offshore for the first campaign of P-55 Export Lines project, participating on the installation of sleepers, pipelay (reel lay) and PLETs deployment.After P-55 EL project, joined the VST Polaris Team to take ownership of the Foundations scope on Guara-Lula NE Project. On this role could develop the methodology of suction anchors and counterweights installation, equipments and tools procurement, preparation and follow-up of installation procedures, Site Integration Tests (SIT) of the structures and mobilization of them in Rio. Had constant interface with SCM and Operations team, as well as with other teams in the company. After the engineering phase, could work offshore onboard the Installation vessel on the scope I was responsible to, dealing with the crew, the client representative and third parties.

Joined the Seven Oceans Vessel Support Team (VST Seven Oceans):P-55 Export Lines – Rigging design for sleepers installation. Support on various activities.Pre-Salt Risers -2 (Tender) – Study of different scenarios with different vessels to evaluate the feasibility of the project.

GSNC Shallow - Gave support to the installation engineer responsible for mattresses installation (crossings), preparing procedures and technical studies.Equipments Installation Phase 4 (Tender) – Developed with support of the installation engineer the preliminary procedure for the manifolds installation.
