About Vinisha Patel

Hi, I’m Vinisha Patel! I am a senior at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with a double minor in Public Policy Analysis and Management as well as Public Health. My passion lies at the intersection of primary care in underserved populations, healthcare policy, and environmental health. To that end, I am interested in opportunities to pursue hands-on research in environmental health as well as primary care medicine, especially in the pediatric and adolescent population. I am a TCNJ Bonner Community Scholar who serves primarily within the issue areas of health equity and educational access. I primarily serve as a site leader for the United Way of Greater Mercer County's new Maternal Health Equity Initiative and am in my third year as the Head of Recruitment for the TCNJ Bonner Program.I love being involved within the campus community; over the course of my college career thus far, I’ve delved into a variety of endeavors, including representing the TCNJ Department of Biology as a BioGuide and bringing the student community together as the Co-President of Late Night Takes – TCNJ’s media appreciation organization.
