Studying Biochemistry at the University of Surrey has been a transformative experience - the blend of theoretical knowledge and practical skills I have acquired has laid a solid foundation for my career as a Genetic Counsellor. My lab experiences have sharpened my analytical skills and attention to detail, and the NIHR courses I have studied (including Good Clinical Practice) have enriched my understanding of clinical and ethical standards in medical research.My holistic development is evident in the roles I've undertaken, such as the President of the Hindu Society and the former Events Manager of the Indian Students’ Association, demonstrating a knack for organizational leadership and event management. Balancing these responsibilities with my studies and additional qualifications, like the NCFE CACHE Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills, has uniquely positioned me to understand and address multifaceted challenges.I'm eager to connect with professionals and peers who share my enthusiasm for scientific exploration and personal growth!
