I’m a passionate Urbanist. I have over 20 years of experience in placemaking and have helped to shape the design and development of places, spaces and buildings, which are both, functional and sustainable. My multi-disciplinary training in architecture and urban design, and diverse project experiences (India, South Africa and UK) allow me to work across varying contexts and scales. I have worked on complex urban regeneration projects and I place a particular emphasis on a people - centred approach to co-create places which are liveable and inclusive. I enjoy being part of larger interdisciplinary teams, working jointly to create innovative solutions to challenging problems, also drawing critical insights from urban research into design work. The environment is where my heart is, and sustainable placemaking my true calling. My vision is to be part of creating resilient places for communities through genuine collaboration and a deep understanding of a place and its context. I am a member of many Design Review Panels in London and the wider South-East, a built environment expert for the Design Council, Chair to Tower Hamlets QRP and Co- Chair to Westminster Design Review Panel.
