Working with Amazon's Big Data Technologies (BDT) team. We are responsible for handling petabytes of data from thousands of data sources inside and outside Amazon including the Amazon catalog system, inventory system, customer order system, page views on the website and Alexa systems.. BDT provides interfaces for our internal customers to access and query the data hundreds of thousands of times per day, using Amazon Web Service’s (AWS) Redshift, Hive, Spark and Oracle. Data is consumed by thousands of teams across Amazon including Research Scientists, Machine Learning Specialists, Business Analysts and Data Engineers.

Worked with Amazon India Payments during the rapidly shifting payments landscape of India from Cash to Digital payments. Build Real Time Payments Monitoring Platform for India Payments from scratch and later was part of team which implemented UPI on amazon.

Research focused on sequence alignment problem in Bioinformatics. It involved in depth study of the dynamic programming methods for global and local sequence alignment, heuristic alignment techniques like FASTA, BLAST.Mentor: Prof. Srikrishnan Divakaran
