My role at OBP is hands on, since forming the company in 2020 we have completed a number of projects that we are proud of. At OBP we have a passion for refurbishment projects. We operate within the commercial sector working with building owners, landlords and tenants throughout the North West. Our refurbishment expertise works hand in hand with property developers who are looking for like minded partners to carry out projects on their behalf.

To lead the newly formed Cordant projects team by delivering exceptional projects and growing the division in line with Cordant Group objectives Cordant Projects specialised in Cat B Fit out, with the construction operations headed up by myself. This was a client facing role with direct reports that included pre construction and estimating, administration and procurement and operations with all trades line managed within a self delivery operating model. Commercial projects up to £5m within high profile locations - private sector clients Restaurants and Retail projects with individual projects and roll outs up to £2m - The Alchemist, Bistrot Pierre, Grand Pacific. Hotel projects up to £5m - Moxy Hotels, Marriott, Park Inn One of the key deliverables was to develop a team whereby 80% of our workforce was directly employed.

SPIE Facilities Services (formerly HOCHTIEF Facilities Management) Project:Delivery of Hard and Soft FM services to 19 PFI schools in the Kirklees area, a PPP1 initiative that also included Projects in Manchester, Salford, Liverpool and Wirral. The portfolio covered Building Schools of the Future BSF, new build and refurbished primary and secondary schools. Scope:Health and Safety accountability. Provision of PPM and Reactive Maintenance. Project management of Variations and Additional works. Preparation and review of Budgets including Forecasting and P&L Reporting.Client and stakeholder interface - SPV, Local Authority, School Colleagues. Line Management of ten direct reports.Project Management of £2.2m Lifecycle (Summer 2012) works, implementation of new tendering process, accountability for programme of works - concept to completion. Walkden High School was Laing O'Rourke's flagship DfMA project and the first out of their new manufacturing facility in Worksop. Key relationship: FM contractor and School: Ensure a difficult transition made easier through good communication and client relationship management.
