I built my first PC when I was 15, while working at a hotel. Ever since then, I've been heavily invested in computers. After graduating from Niceville Senior High School with several college credits (including Calculus 1 & 2) in 2016, I moved on to the University of Florida, where I studied Nuclear Engineering.After leaving Gainesville, FL in 2020, I moved to the Detroit area to work on controls systems for automotive and aerospace applications at Legacy Industries. I completed projects for customers such as Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grumman, GM, Ford, and several others. During this time I developed an interest for coding and became proficient at using visual basic. I developed a simple linear functioning windows application from scratch that used a USB barcode scanner and a voltmeter utilized with SCRI commands sent from the app over Ethernet (TCP) to test car battery cells for adequate voltage and minimal degradation before being installed in GM electric vehicles. There are multiple locations around the country using this application.(CURRENT POSITION) In August 2023 I moved to Denver, CO to work at PSI (subsidiary of Columbia Machine) as an Electrical Engineer and began working on different types of automated bag palletizers using Columbia’s common palletizing system design in addition to customized conveyer travel paths designed for the specific customer plant/mill location. I am involved in AutoCAD electrical design, creating BOMs, updating inventory records, and programming PLCs. I am becoming much more knowledgeable about conveyers, VFDs, electrical circuit/panel design, and how they individually function in an automation application. Also, since 2017, I've been teaching myself how to use all different types of music production software and hardware, which I find to be therapeutic while also continuing to build upon my experience and understanding involving computers.
