I am part of the Aladdin Foresight team. Foresight is an application which enables organisations to sequence and automate fragmented model-driven business processes to facilitate effective decision making. My role involves designing systems in line with business needs, implementing high performing features, actively participating in every aspect of the software development lifecycle from PI planning to the delivery and working with the testing team to ensure proper testing and delivery of the features.

Working on a VBA automated reporting project to generate fully customizable reports. This project involves automatically crunching millions of numbers on excel to build a dataset and splice it in bunch of ways. The program retrieves relevant data into a temporary storage from the csv data file and prepares the required reports. Report generation is fully customizable. User can select any date range, customize the prizing buckets and attributes and customize the look and feel of the report. This program also calculates the Weighted Average Price, Average Opportunities, Impressions and calculates the Daily Fill Rate and the same is converted into a csv file to upload into other platforms.

• Develop a three dimensional dashboard and scorecard for all business units to reflect Operational and Metrics data.• Revamp the commentaries by creating an automated weather report. • Create a fully customizable and re-usable Report designer.• Create a De-risk allocation tool to automate the Budget process.• Automate the 3+9 and 9+3 forecasts and AOP process by creating new templates and automation.

Manage the financial performance of the group covering all financial aspects (P&L, Balance Sheet, Capital and Risk Weighted Assets) around actuals, forecast, annual budgets and strategic planning.• Responsible for review of all business requirements related to Oracle OFSAA as well as Data warehouse projects. • Review daily balance sheet and P&L and monitor the operation and maintenance of the General Ledger to ensure that all financial transactions are accounted for• Prepare monthly consolidated management account reports including in depth analysis and commentary on variances between budget and forecast• Assisting the Financial controller with Management Packs and presentations• Liaison with auditors and prepare Notes to Financials• Prepare monthly and quarterly Forecast balance sheets and ratios• Prepare monthly Internal and Segmental Expense allocations aiding cost center managers in the control of their expenditure by providing monthly analysis of and commentary on significant variances from budget• Prepare Bank , Segmental and Customer Profitability Packs• Prepare product wise yields and NIM• Liaise with Central Bank authorities and inspectors • Prepare Basel I Capital Adequacy Ratio• Prepare Market Sizing / Peer group analysis• Prepare and closely monitor ratios like ROAA, ROAE, LD Ratio, Cost to Income Ratio, Provision Charge, Provision Coverage, NIM, Market Capitalisation , EPS etc.• Involved in group annual budgets preparation, analyzing budget Profit and Loss Report at Department/Segment level, identifying cost drivers and areas of savings.• Prepare Monthly accrual and provision entries• Prepare Board, Executive Committee, AGM presentations• Controlling fixed asset records, monitoring asset movements and ensuring depreciation on fixed assets are correctly calculated.
